Adirondack Glassblowing Studio is looking for Hot Shop team members, Gallery/Shipping team members, Metal Fabricators and Volunteers in the Adirondacks each summer.
We are located along the Hudson River, in North Creek, NY, about 30 minutes from Lake George. We are a busy, publicly accessible hot shop, offering a broad selection of Make Your Own Experiences & a Glass Gallery.
The mission during this seasonal residency each year is to contribute to the community as a Town Attraction. We offer outstanding opportunities for visitors, provide free glass classes to local students and premium private glassmaking experiences to locals and tourists alike.
This is a fun, hard working, & creative environment.
We are building a space where glassmakers can return each summer to make money practicing their craft, while surrounded by the beauty of the Adirondack Mountains. Glass and Art lovers can contribute to a thriving studio and gallery. Enjoy hiking, canoeing, biking, climbing, rafting and more while exploring the largest state park in the USA.
If you’ve got the “Make Your Own” facilitator thing down and want to make money, this is a fun summer gig, with a great bonus system. If you want to improve your technical and soft skills while enjoying a beautiful small mountain town, this is a great summer gig. Let's talk about the possibilities.
We are looking for experienced metal fabricators, as contractors or part time employees.
We need full time and part time help in the Gallery & with Shipping. We're looking for volunteers to help with our Flower Fence!
